Development of Digital Learner Characteristics Model for Higher Vocational Students in Guangxi

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the current situation of digital learner characteristics for Higher vocational students in Guangxi, 2) to develop of digital learner characteristics model for Higher vocational students in Guangxi and 3) to evaluate of digital learner characteristics model for Higher vocational students in Guangxi. There are 3 main process in this research 1) the researchers conducted detailed interviews with 21 senior experts in the field through the literature review method, and collected detailed information on the current status and existing problems of digital learners among students in Guangxi vocational colleges, 2) the researchers used the rigorous Delphi method, conducted two rounds of careful research and repeated verification with the same 21 experts, and successfully constructed a digital learner characteristic model suitable for students in Guangxi vocational colleges, and 3) the researchers organized a focus group discussion, gathered the wisdom of 9 authoritative experts, conducted a comprehensive and in-depth evaluation of the student digital learning characteristic model, and finally extracted a scientific, reasonable and practical model. The model contains 5 themes and 56 strategies, providing comprehensive guidance for improving the digital learner capabilities of higher vocational students. The research results found that 18 Effective Strategies for Students' Digital Literacy and Skills in Round 3, 10 strategies were unanimously agreed upon by 21 experts (75%) or more. In addition, the average score, standard deviation, median and interquartile range of the test class (B) in the digital literacy and skills section are better than those of the ordinary class (A), indicating that the students' digital literacy and skills have been improved to a certain extent.
